Our Story

Nanas Clothing started as a small storefront on Avenue N in Brooklyn, opened to give neighborhood families a place to find real, wearable clothing without department-store markups. The idea was simple: stock the pieces people actually need — occasion dresses for a niece's quinceañera, a graduation gown for a daughter walking the stage, everyday tops for work, and durable clothes for kids who outgrow everything in a season — and price them so a family could actually afford to shop for more than one person at a time.

Since opening, Nanas Clothing has grown from foot traffic on Avenue N into an online shop serving the wider Brooklyn community and beyond, but the mission has not changed. We are still a family-run clothing shop first, and an e-commerce store second.
